Just as the far left who repeated almost daily every day for 4 years that Bush did not really win the 2000 election. Both sides use silly issues to express their disregard for a politician. That hasn't changed in 100's of years. For Hilary Clinton, who my father hated, it was she is a lesbian. For Ron Paul, people call him a racist. What people are really saying is, I don't like that person. You don't need to get emotional over the semantics because that is all it really is.

As 2012 comes in, we all here in fight realize that we have a problem, and I predict, like Jefferson and Hamilton, we will unite to save our nation. Will we ever meet, maybe, or maybe not, but we here in P&R will definitely be on the same front. Count on it. If for nothing else than preserve the right to insult each other, you can count on it.

This is always what I find funny. I'm not against anybody on here and I don't think that way. Don't take this the wrong way because it's going to come out really bad, but I think black people often think in terms of someone out to get them and everything is a fight. And yes, I am sympathetic to the history of back people and I understand why they think that way. But there is no fight down here. I have things I believe in and have always believed in. I like to argue current events and policy. But I'm not against anyone. And RCG, I have met many many people on here. Some of them liberal, some of them not liberal. I have the same debates with them in person that I have on this board. People can debate issues without calling it a fight. That terminology really concerns me. I don't like to associate violence with political discussion.
Politics is war Mav. Elections do have consequences. So do not think I take that personally. I have noticed that you do take things to heart and that is good, that means you have never played this vicious game. I commend you.

You do not have a disconnect between politics and your identity, again, I commend you. ALL politicians( and warriors) have that disconnect. Is it good? I don't know.
