Hehe, Ozzies love to cut down nearly all words into abbreviations, ute is a utility vehicle.
In this case a short wheel base Toyota, the short wheel base generally favoured because of the numerous 4x4 tracks in our outbacks, also the preferred vehicle for pig hunters which is a great hunting sport if you like hunting.
