Good morning, I am in California an hour behind you.

Nasdaq bounced off support at 7955/56 for an hour or more, so decided to cover at 7956.75 to avoid the possible spike up stop out. A few minutes after covering it rolls down to 7942. Wow, you wait over an hour to escape with a few points and within 3 minutes or so it goes to your intended target zone.

So I watched a bit for a rebound, went long at 7944.25, 7949.25,7952.25 and exited 7954.50 my target, but to conservative as in a few minutes it was above 7960. No grips, it was a unexpected bonus trade that did better than planned trade, and I was tired but flat :cool:.

Slept in, and will remain flat to Powell show.
 
i always but the Russell on Dips when the nq and es are rallying. this morning and today are a perfect Example. it still must be times, but i enjoy the tick size for filling limits n stops and it can really trend for the day once it picks a direction...
 
the market is bullish like in 1999 just use the ipo mkt as your barómeter. when ipos do great that means lots of dumb speculation. when ipos do poorly..its time to sell..when guys like Richard Branson or beyond meat rush to ipo..or uber lyft..then you know speculative money is at play. looking back to 2008..how was the ipo..mkt?
 
would you take your company to ipo in good times or bad and beyond that view. if you are a new company going public and no one really gets onboard.i.e. your ipo priced negative or no asses value then you might have already sealed the companies fate. snap is an Eixample but i love snap and have been buying and holding from 16 to 6. it will hit 50 by the end of 2020 if no huge mkt sell off or recession. everyone has forgotten about how snap is in video games and will produce video sunglasses that are very popular combining a physical product a camera with a stock virtual realty platform will usher in a new era of live streaming. just like bitcoin was introduced to save the graphics chip and computer companies.aka Microsoft. phone were taking everything. bitcoin forced people to muy desktops and lots of graphics cards

Man, the Russell would have been a great short this morning. And in fact, the bounce of the 34 EMA on a 10 min chart would have been another great short great too.
 
Pretty much bracket trading on the ES today during NY session. Looks like the Russell had some big moves, though.

3000 on the ES looks like a base camp. How much higher can this possibly go?

What are the significant numbers on the ES, NQ, and Russell that we should be aware of around this area?
 
the buy around 1554 was almost as good as the sell. the Russell is its own index. its small caps so it does very weird volátiles stuff at times. u gotta becareful but when you hold long enough i like anything it pay well. all time high is a number it will eventually gun for if the other 3 índices continúe higher and they should. buy these mkts on Dips and you should do well. dont listen to people saying its going to crash..how Long have they been wrong now 19 years..same thing was being said in 2013. this is not a bubble yet.
 
Long 3009.50. Stop 3006.25. Target 1 is 3015.25.

Will move stop up to breakeven + 1 after 7-10 ticks, depending on conditions.
