In all seriousness, I am continually surprised on here by the ignorance and "professed norms" expressed by a group of posters on here. Whether it's all a big game to them, or they are the lunatic fringe of American society, or somehow a few extreme sociopaths found this place, who knows. They feed on each other and lack meaningful limits that perhaps compassionate family members or discerning work colleagues could help with.

At least that's what I'm hoping is occurring. If mainstream Americans are even 50% like some of these posters on here, the US is in serious trouble. The lack of gun control, increasing numbers of poverty stricken people, and lacking social net is a recipe for future disaster.

You're not reading mainstream Americans, here. You are reading the cries of desperate, older men who are terrified of the end of their own lives, and blame everyone else. This isn't the only website around that tolerates so much hate, and if the mods think combatants are getting a bit too real, they ban 'em.
