I think that there are people in this world that are fantastically sensitive, their nerve endings extending outward of themselves. To make fun of them is to feign ignorance.Quote from bronks:
wow. I can't think of anything else to say.
I'm with you in the fact that the more of them, the better.
I wonder how Nitro feels about this?
One of the things that you learn from evolutionary dynamics is that populations are stable only if there is enough variety in them. If there is no prey, predators die too. We coexist in some symbiosis that nature in her infinite wisdom has evolved for a reason. Human experience is no different. I could not even fathom the consequences to humanity/earth if we were all capitalists predators maximizing our local gains. The world would be over almost for sure. Be careful what you wish for.
The human brain is capable of almost anything. Why would I not believe that these people couldn't exist? How does it affect me that they are deeply touched by the disrespect that humanity has for nature? I do agree that they go overboard, but that is a statement equally about me as it is about them.
I harbor no ill will toward people that are not like me. I have in common with them their ideals, but not their sentiment, and therefore we could probably not be friends because they would probably annoy me, but I respect their quest, even though in their [expressed] form it is not mine.
"Save" yourself man, and allow for other people to do the same. Seek to understand first, then to be understood.
