No kook-aid here. Clearly the story is written to create the belief that Donald Trump lied. So while the National Cathedral didn't need "permission for a funeral," there were other elements of John Mcwhatever's death proceedings which required permission from OTHER than the National Cathedral.

But keep on keeping on. The National Cathedral wouldn't have been able to perform a funeral with a body, without Trump's assistance. Unless, the Mcwhatever's family, rich as they are, paid for the body to be transported there themselves. Which they didn't. And should have.
