Ironically, that's bad news for McCabe. The outcry over letting him skate while Flynn is sentenced on a scam will be fierce, and justifiably so.

That's the downside of having Trump pardon Flynn. It takes the pressure off of the McCabe situation and removes that arguement. I am willing to sacrifice Flynn to see the pressure on McCabe remain. Trump can always pardon him down the road. Maybe Flynn can get a country club prison like Michael Cohen did. It's a black eye on the DOJ to have Flynn in the slam when the investigators concluded that they did not think he way lying, while McCabe skates. Let it continue to be a black eye until they fix it. Barr and Durham, I am lookin at you.

It is always a treat to read a cogent legal argument from a dude who can’t spell argument. McCabe is lolling.
 
The Associated Press reported on Thursday that Barr picked his senior counselor, Timothy Shea, to be U.S. attorney in D.C. He will lead the same office that is prosecuting former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn.

No wonder this went from 5 yr prison recommendation to probation. Cleaner Barr paying dividends.
