Quote from hughb:

A new Wonder Woman movie is in production and scheduled for release sometime in 09. Unfortunately, it is going to be an animated PG-13 movie, so I doubt it will do well. The voice of Wonder Woman is going to be done by Keri Russell.

I know that I will not go see a PG-13 animated superhero movie, and I doubt many others will either. Sometimes I wonder what producers are thinking. I bet a full on Wonder Woman movie with all the special effects could be a blockbuster.

I think we are beginning to see the start of a trend on this.

Isnt there a Star Wars animation movie that just came out? Before that there was "Beowulf".

I guess Producers feel its more profitable to put out animation films.... even if not as many people go see it.

...Anyways, i watched 15 minutes of it and couldn't take it
no more..... took it out.... found it too boring.
I few years later, I decided to give this film another shot..
since obviously it was i that didn't "get it". ...

I remember when I was 14 years old, I would listen to my older brothers clasical music collection. I would always listen to the same thing, Beethoven, Bach, Handle, Haydn.

One day my brother suggested I listen to Mozart. So I put the vinyl on, threw on the ear phones, and started listening. I lastted maybe 3 minutes. My brother asked my what I thought, and I said that it sounded like elevator music to me. He let out a loud guffaw, and put the music back in the sleeve.

By the time I was seventeen, there is no known greater composer known to me since then.

Here's a topic for discussion: Woody Allen.

Twenty years ago, he was highly regarded, one of the greats. Now, he doesn't even get a mention on this thread. What happened? Does he put out too much product? Is a film each year too much? I can't say I've seen any of the films he's made in the past ten years. Is he still relevant?

I made a reference to "Annie Hall" a few pages ago... his greatest film.

I think he was ahead of the curve a few decades ago, but somehow got lost in the crowd as he got older.
