Mansions, or giga-mansions, are absolutely absurd.
You have got to have an inadequacy syndrome, or some other mental/psychological condition to want to live like that.

I don't understand what do they need them for, from a practical point of view. Do they stay empty most of the time? Do they throw big parties in them? Or invite a lot of guests?
