the fed will hate this report--bad news

Quote from Ivanovich:

You mean because I don't start threads unless there's an actual point or informational blurb that helps those who frequent the forum? Thanks!

Try keeping your fascinating analysis in chit chat. Unless, of course, you're bringing something to the table that is:

A. Inside information
B. News (from a news source)
C. An analytical theory

Of course, if you have a source that states how the Fed was "shocked" about X or "upset" about Y, I'll happily withdraw my criticism.

The first part of your post was fine - the news. The second, where you tell us how shocked the Fed was, is speculative at best.

Go read academic papers, with citations.. people that do that are great traders!! You will be among your peers...

This is too good to pass up. When a poster is here rather than trading then:

1) They don't really short-term trade.

2) The market is slowwwww.....

3) They have no life.

4) Serious ego issues..

5) All of the above.

For me it's #3...

Market is slooooww...

Before the Fed, nothing happening. Other than threads being created (over and over) to deliberate what the Fed will do.

Oh, and the insult hurling and comic relief. :)

wait a minute. the guy made a post about the fed being worried about wage inflation and lower productivity growth(a real concern). WTF is everyone complaining about? this is a forum is'nt it?
