The FED, BOJ - What to Expect 9/20/2016

Call me dumb, but as a trader, I hate to expect or speculate anything for such market moving events like FOMC/BOJ announcement tomorrow because it's too much of gambling for me. I prefer to wait until market settles down and then, wait until my trading system gets triggered (either on the up/down side) so I make my decision to trade.

Yes, today we are expecting a lot of game-changing news right...

The Bank of Japan already have shown some moves: you can read an update here

Though, still waiting for the Fed to meet. I think that BoJ must wait a little before Fed announces its decision before acting...

I think the point of the article was to point out that some novice traders were obsessed with the fed, when in our opinion the boj was the more important meeting of the two. Especially over next week or so. We also tried to point out that at this point even if boj would act inline with expectations, it's hard to predict what market would do, as opposed to the fed we can make a strong assumption how market would react if they would raise rates (not expected) or if they would be dovish and seem to push dec off the table (not expected).

Whether a fellow is a newcomer or a veteran if a near term opportunity exists such as today s FOMC one should find a good trade with BOJ and FED both making a decision so close together. These guys make volatility to trade.

Most likely there will be no rate hike this year, they want HC to win so they don't want to worry the market.
