Is Florida at three months of Social Distancing yet? No. They just completed one month. Let's give it two more months with a "re-opening" occurring and see the actual results.

What?? The numbers are FAAAAARR better even without the three months! They should be worse, not much better, if the model is to be believed. You're forgetting there is a time axis on that chart! If the coronavirus is reduced by sunlight and humidity then Florida may have this going in its favor to help eliminate the spread.

Actually I have explained my view of the best policy many times. I have also backed my perspective with references from experts showing it is the best policy for a novel pandemic.

In short - Do a universal lock-down for 60 days and then gradually re-open in stages. Each stage should have clear entry and exit criteria.

This is the path that most of the U.S. is on. The states with intelligent leadership are following the recommendations from experts.

Most states in the U.S. started their lock-downs in late March. This means most should be opening up in late May. Based on this - there are a number of states which are opening up two or three weeks too early --- and are likely to see a resurgence in coronavirus.
