good point. maybe consolidate all futures trading into one room bar index trading which can have its own room.

Definitely need to break it down into sub-rooms. If not it will be a shit show over crowded with people all over the place.

For futures guys:

Stock Index Room
Commodities Room
Fixed income room

Then maybe:

An equities only room
A TA room
A fundamentals Room

Then finally a "general room" where there is no topic. That's a place where the bitchers and whiners can roam and whine how hard trading is. Have no rules in that one. Let anything go on in there.

I would also have some kind of moderation. Not all the time sitting in each room, but lets say if someone is spewing their nonsense in a room and people complain about the jerk.......then they are permanently banned from that room.

Basically, these rooms have two purposes and they are real time calls by the members and just bs'ing about the markets. My bet is specific rooms just wont gain traction--- stuff like "risk management" is for a static forum like Elite, not a live chat room.
