The ER2 Trading Journal

TT, I used 777 (7 bar, 7 average, 7 period) for the standard Fisher. I did some backtesting last night, I added a 20 bar, 34 bar, 44 bar Fisher RSI to the chart. It appears to me when the 7 bar passed the 20/34/44 bar Fishers, it was a buy/cover. Otherwise, stay in the short position (as of this morning).

Thanks for sharing for the chart. What TA indicators do you use for entry or exit? Any triggers do you use? Such as MA crossing etc?

trade_4_living,

thanks for sharing your charts....
a couple of years ago i exchanged a few e-mails with an ausy pro trader named steven fitzsimmons
he posted a chart that showed the signals he used for a 10 point ES gain.....
he was very kind to share how he did it.....
i've added a little to it, but have tried to maintain a similar chart...
the times below are CST in the
chart below

Thanks for the info.

I do not see the Fisher Transform study in Ensign.

Do you have a custom workspace?

i use a Hull Moving Average developed by Australian Technical Analyst Alan Hull....
also use a gaussian moving average.....
the gaussian is faster and changes from gray to black....
the slower hull changes from white to black....

generally i trade with a 233 tick bar chart but limit my trades to the direction suggested by a 667 tick bar chart.....

my strategy is very time/volume sensitive, example is i don't normally trade during the NYSE lunch period....

another trigger i use, is time series forcast

Here you go, see this attached file, select Fisher Transform there:

Thanks for the ensign image.

You mentioned a 234 tick chart and now I see that seem to be trading off a 75 tick chart.

Am I correct?
