Even if they were to legalize drugs, their will always be a black market, you think gov't not put huge tax like in Colorado? The street vendors who sell illegally up there is making a killing on selling grass cause they don't charge taxes. And it is not much Mary Jane Mexs hauling over, heroin and cocaine mainly what they bringing over, and again it could be pure or ajax poison. Never going to legalize the hard stuff, and reason why is Feds want to be able to get tax money to spend in other ways.

I think the huge inflated size of our people getting hooked on them is change of our society not wanting to get a job. So many younger people just want to play video games and stay high instead of getting 1-3 jobs, get decent education and make a life. I see very little of working hard, it is too often of not saying they did something wrong and pushing mistakes on others. Then they jump on wagon of Sanders and his socialist attitude of taxing traders to spread the wealth will only make America worse, making the people who don't want to work have even easier way of life, then asking for more.
I think anything is addictive, drugs of one kind or another and FOOD, look at how much of USA population is over weight, saw a guy over week who was 906 pounds and 26 years old, come on, can't get out of a bed, his mother ordering 9 Big Macs at Mc Donalds and wonders why porky getting heavier.
there is no reason we can't import cocain and heroin legally and ship it to the clinic. It won't eliminate all black market, but it will take most of the money(illegal anyways) out of. People addicted need help. Better if they get their drugs each day from the same clinic that can help them.
