I understand a backlash vote against Bush and the RepubliClowns....

But if you NObamabots took the time to study a bit of world financial history, you'd be scared to death of NObama and his embedding greater Socialistic policies and programs into the American culture, such as it is.. :(

Basically as I see it, my job is to ensure that I and my family enjoy a good fruitful life and it is the gov's job to try and prevent this from happening.

That is a healthy view, but what about your kids' families? Hussein's policies will further limit their ability to provide for their families. Will you just leave at, "that is their problem" or will you act in some way to preserve what is left of this land of opportunity? Of course, you could teach them all to trade...
