You remember what Kevin Costner playing Elliot Ness in the film "The Untouchables" said to the Canadian Mountie who criticized his crude interrogation techniques? "You're not from here!" Dunning-Kruger is playing itself out in American politics.

The only memorable line I remember from that movie was when Connery, as Malone, told Ness as they were waiting in ambush:
"Don't wait for it to happen. Don't even want it to happen. Just watch what does happen."
The slippery slide into impoverished socialism is now irreversible. The Constitution is nibbled by Neo-Communists into Swiss cheese. Franklin said it best: "When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." I may have to flee to Canada. Are my Social Security and Medicare benefits transferrable, do you know? And will they honor my Texas CHL?

He and I have been entertaining ET for many years. But certain parties on ET haven't found us to be so funny. Some kinds of good company can only be had on the web. It is very hard to find people who trade every day who make fun of trading. It's a serious binnis, doncha know? I used to go regularly to the Dallas AfTA meetings, but quit. Such dull grey people who find no black humor in the existential condition of the solitary trader!
