What is the "War on Terror"?
- is it when other cultures/peoples get mad at the American jingoism?
- is it when other cultures/peoples get mad because we give aid to their enemies?
- is it when the IMF/World Bank/US Corporations *invade* other countries with the *benefits of capitalism* via loans they can't pay back (but the spreadsheets and PowerPoint slides say they can), then yank the rug out from under them after American contractors get all that loan money back?
- is it when the US *invades* another country under the guise of "rooting out terror/making the world safer for democracy", but all we really do is exploit their resources for our own gain (for all you history buffs, this is actually right out of the WWII Nazi/Japanese playbook)
The War on Terror is a just a catchphrase that gives the US Government the license to do whatever they want to whomever they please.

WHAT OTHER COUNTRY IS CONSTANTLY INTERVENING IN THE AFFAIRS OF OTHERS? (The ones doing so on their own initiative... not the ones who are just following America's lead.)

Not saying we should be complete isolationists... but good grief! No wonder half the world hates us.

I agree that we should defend our shores. But we should also protect the innocent from oppression, like we did in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and, with the drones, in Pakistan.
We also need to help other innocents protect themselves, which is why we should keep supporting Israel against the dark forces of Lucifer.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. America is 3% of the world's population. We can not, should not, and cannot afford to "protect everybody in the world from themselves".
ME countries have been warring among themselves for THOUSANDS of years before America was little but a dream. What gives us the right or obligation to pontificate how they should live, what they should believe in, how their social structure should work... and to interfere in their doings?

We may be militarily superior (the opportunity to become that... thanks to the genius Founders... is rapidly being PISSED AWAY BY LIBERAL DEMOCRATS, you know), but does that make us "morally right" about ANYTHING? IOW... the guy with the biggest muscles is always RIGHT?
And how can we claim to be "superior" when our childrens' test scores rank 25-30th place around the world in math, reading, and comprehension. Just how "superior" IS 30th place?
