I've followed a little of the many Jack Hershey threads... clearly Jack has very thick skin, and has easily as many detractors as followers.
Coming from a fair neutral point of view that I would encourage all of his proud detractors to consider:..
The only concrete thing people cite as reason to label Jack as a fraud is his supposed tax lien and living with his new wife in a home she purchased long ago (again supposed). I have seen the tax lien, but have yet to see anything that connects it to him. I also have not seen any link or paper that has proven him living in someone else's old home. Wouldn't it be wise to consider why someone should talk about their personal relationships online, especially if you wouldn't?
On the flip side, what do the detractors have to say about this? A rigged article designed to boost creditability in Google? http://articles.herald-mail.com/201...hn-r-jack-hershey-father-s-day-father-and-son Also, how many detractors have met him at the hailed Tucson meet up?
Personally I have no conclusions, and really would be more persuaded with any evidence in either direction. To me, his style of language is consistently awkward but usually understandable. The apparent poorly supported slander (based on the information I've seen on this board so far) however isn't justified at this point, IMHO. I'm not saying every detractor should post a professional libel post with links every time, nor am I demanding any response with links, but with the at least 300 anti-Jack Hershey posts on this board, it would help to have something definitive and not just borderline convincing hear-say. Just my $0.02...
