Some background and context. Russia has been flying Boeing and Airbus planes to Turkey to have basic maintenance performed on them (filters, etc.) while they were on scheduled flights. The aircraft were rotated to get multiple aircraft serviced in Turkey.
Now the U.S. and E.U. are demanding a crackdown on these shenanigans.
