Did you notice the resemblance between:
  • the brainless Russians gathering with Putin to make Russia great again.
  • the brainless Americans gathering with Trump to make America great again.
  • both are doing this only for personal profit, they don't care about people.
Other resemblances:
  • Both use the same tactics. Putin learned Trump how to do that.
  • They both use the "fake news" tactics.
  • They both ask the "herd" to only believe them and not believe all the lies from the counterparts.
  • They both like to annihilate their adversaries. Putin shoots them, poisons them or put them for lifetime in prison.
  • Trump just orders his followers to kill Pence or Pelosi.

A confrontation would mean general mobilisation in Russia. The Russians will understand then that Putin has always been lying. It would also mean that Russian territory will be bombed, which will confirm to the Russians that there is a war in Ukraine, not a "special action".
It would be the end for Putin.
Russians don't want any war in Russia and surely don't want to go and fight.
