Any smart Russian millionaire has been keeping their money outside the country for years. Most will leave behind all of their personal (house) and business assets located in Russia -- and have a new start with the funds they squirreled out of Russia. As long as they are not individuals on the sanctions list (billionaire oligarchs) they will have not have problems moving abroad.
But the source of wealth could be ownership of a russian steel conglomerate or mining business, this is why they might still be handcuffed a bit to russia.
Plus Russia's chinese overlords are circling like vultures around some of these businesses/sectors where they have been locked out or had problems due to the oligarchs having everything tied up.
Russia says that the US and Europe shoot themselves in the foot.
So they basicaly confirm that they have a huge problem with their crashing economy.
How did this lead me to that conclusion?
If you are fighting a war and you see that your enemy is shooting in his own foot, you will in no case tell that to him. Let him shoot in his foot as it makes him weaker.
Russia does exactly the opposite. The fact that Russia is now telling everywhere that we are stupid, means that they hope that we will believe what they say and would reduce/stop this war.
Remember how many times Russia told they would not invade Ukraine? And what did they do?
