China Bans Most Russian Planes From Airspace Because They’re Stolen
Russia finds fewer and fewer countries willing to tolerate its unprecedented jet theft.

Regardless of how bad this is for Russia (and it is bad), I find it rather curious that Russia "stole" airplanes, but the west "confiscated" super yachts.
What a joke.
Stole -- implies theft -- where you take something belonging to someone else and either start using it or resell it. This includes situations where you fail to return an item as per the designated signed agreement.
So which of the Russian super yachts have been resold or being used by someone else? All the super yachts are merely sitting in ports as frozen assets with international law fully backing their seizure. Many governments are actually paying to maintain and dock the Russian super yachts . I fail to see how you can imply the yachts were stolen.
The planes are obviously stolen since they are still being used and were not returned as per the conditions of the lease. Similar to if you rented/leased a car and failed to return it -- the police would come hunt you down for theft.
Since when does stealing something mean you have to have intent to reuse or sell it? I like how you define words in a way that is convenient to your narrative. Just googling "stolen":
take (another person's property) without permission or legal right and without intending to return it.
"thieves stole her bicycle"
There is nothing in here about intent to sell or reuse. But lets play your (silly) game and go with your definition. So you're saying the yachts will never be sold or used or given away to anyone? Because i saw several news articles where countries that seized the yachts had plans to sell them off or discussions about the same.
Look, I get that you want to keep your narrative in tact, but you'll be much more successful around here if you objectively look at the situation. And you'll actually gain credibility - which for you cannot get any worse at this point.
There is an entire international legal framework of law which supports seizing the Russian super yachts.

International law also makes it quite clear that the planes are stolen by the Russians when they failed to honor the lease agreements.
The two situations are completely different. Stop trying to conflate them.
Ah, well if it is internationally based, then that's different!
What a joke. This reminds me of "history is written by those who are victorious". You're trying to defend the exact same action on one side while condemning the same thing on the other simply using the pretense that "we're the good guys, so its not stealing!"
See my previous comment on credibility and objectivity - two things you don't have.
