What percentage of McDonald's fries are actually potato?
McDonald's French Fries are cooked in the restaurants using a non-hydrogenated vegetable oil. Some of this oil will be absorbed by the potato on cooking. The cooked Fries will therefore end up being approximately 86% potato - the remaining 14% being vegetable oil.

Ok, well you're free to ignore whatever you want. If you break sanctions when its convenient, then sanctions aren't really that tight.

Sanctions are really not as tight as they should be, but far from crumbling.
Not necessarily surprising that the people who are unable to reverse engineer how french fries are made would have trouble doing hi-tech workarounds/knock-offs.
