The Democrats in a nutshell

This is what they say out of one side of their mouth.
It is illegal to meet a foreigner who might have damaging information about your political opponent. In fact, it is treason.

This is what they say out of the other side of their mouth.
We have a bogus dossier that we obtained from an individual who formerly worked as an intel officer for a foreign government. We are going to use it against our opponent even though it is bogus and it was done by a foreigner. Aren't we swell?

Nice try, except:

1. The dossier contents were released post election (even though the dossier was well known by FBI, the media, and plenty of people at the hill, yet they bit their tongue on disseminating the contents due to the outrageous nature and difficulty of confirmation).
2. The dossier was given to McCain, a Republican.
3. If the democrats had any knowledge pre-election they decided not to use it to subvert the democratic process.
4. The contents were offered w/no intention of swaying the election (no democrats in the campaign were conspiring w/the MI6 agent to discredit Trump).
5. The FBI considered it credible enough to investigate it and quite frankly may still be looking at it.

Actually the dossier was given to several members of Congress on both sides of the aisle, not just to McCain.
