The Democrats are lying when they say they want to help President Trump!

I predict that tax cuts will stimulate the economy and real jobs with good pay will grow over time absent and exogenous shock.

Inflation levels will be in large part dependent on how much electronic money the FED creates independent of the U.S. deficit.

When the FED raises interest rates as a result then by your reasoning it's destroying money. Tada, all your worries are for naught.

The most powerful democrat in the Senate is advocating the party go all muslim by endorsing Keith Ellison to the position of head of the DNC, and the rest of his party is trying to paint Stephen Bannon as a wild man unacceptable to be an advisor to Trump. It's hard to believe they've learned so little after getting drubbed in the election. It's like they're doubling down on a losing strategy.

If they do it will just be a coincidence. First of all, the tax rate could be 100% and it makes no difference to a company with no customers. The complaint from small (and big) business has never been taxes. The complaint is no customers. If I am underwater a tax break really does me no good. I'm always for low taxes but I don't see it as being a starting point stimulus. Raising min wage would be a much better folly. Or we could meet halfway, lower taxes/higher min wage.

Well said. You weren't around then, but I used to say here, "if your customers are broke you can't make sales".

we are talking about systems and demand curves across the economy.
besides... tax rates of 100% prove the point. No one would deliver service at 100% unless coerced. So 100% tax would be far worse for the govt than 10%.

As keynes said there are tax rates which defeat the purpose of trying to raise tax revenues.

What kind of havoc is obama and his posse going to play in the last months of his regime?

We already know about the deal with Australia to let muslim refugees get a pass in.
Who's he going to funnel money to?
Who's he going to pardon?
What further exec orders will he sign to further entrench leftist interests?
I read the other day about some tricks he could pull with obamacare funding that will make it harder to amend it for two years. If Trump thinks he's going to amend rather than repeal, that would throw a monkey wrench into that.

The media will be reluctant to report much of it. Somebody needs to have a sharp eye out for what's going on behind the scenes and I don't trust Ryan and crew to do that for us.
