SouthAmerica: No. It is not true.

The editor of Brazzil magazine has no agenda whatsoever, and he believes on free speech and no censorship – and if you had the chance to read many articles on Brazzil magazine over a long period of time you would realize that he does publish a wide range of articles; from left-wing articles to right-wing articles and everything else in between.

The magazine is not biased against the United States to answer your question – you would find articles in favor or against US policy and so on…..

My articles and my postings on this web site reflect only my opinion, and not the opinion of that magazine or of this web site.

If you were a warmonger, and the type of person who thinks that the US should take over the world – then you would consider me anti-American.

And that it is fine with me.

But if you read most of my articles, and really understand what I am saying regarding rebuilding the foundations of the US economy and try to keep jobs here in the United States and protect the middle class – protecting people’s pension money from corporate abuse – make it available healthcare for every single person in the United States – change the US government energy policy to something that makes sense for the future - don’t leave a bankrupted US economy for the new generation – stop that stupid war in Iraq and bring the US army back home, and so on.

Then you would realize that I am worried about the future of the US economy, and about what is going to happen around here in the USA.

This is the most nonsensical hogwash I ever witnessed.

Bush can't lead the country into decay; no President can. That is the beauty and genius of American society. It is a society so deep with innovation, free spirit and enterprise, one that draws on a vast well of strong principles of individuality and freedom, that no single leader can poison it. Our country is is consituted to self heal. It always has been, always will be. Unlike
totalitarian corrupt regimes.

To compare the US to the twilight phase of the Soviet Union is, well, a remark from the mouth of a "moron".

SouthAmerica: I never submit my articles for publishing on US magazines.

I did submit one article for publishing on a world news magazine, but the publisher told me that the magazine was in financial trouble and could not pay for their articles.

I have been contacted a number of times over the years by other publishers who asked me to submit my articles for publishing on their magazines – but they also told me the articles had to be submitted as a contribution, since they also had no budget to pay for them.

I have seen my articles published on other newspapers and magazines on the web, but usually they republish the articles that were published on Brazzil magazine and on Arab News. Sometime I find out that the article has been published on some newspaper or magazine when I receive an email from a reader making a comment regarding the article.

I publish my articles where I get the most audience such as “The Brasilians” newspaper, which is the oldest Brazilian newspaper, published here in the US, and Brazzil magazine that has a very large global audience of people interested on everything related to Brazil. "The Brasilians" is distributed to all Brazilian consulates in the US and also to the Brazilian embassy in Washington DC, the newspaper is also distributed to the major universities inside the United States, they also distribute their newspaper to most Brazilian companies operating in the US.

You asked me why I compare Brazil to the United States so much?

There are various reasons – both countries are major players in the Americas – both countries have a very similar history – both countries at one time were colonies of European powers - both countries built the foundations of its economies by using a slavery system – both countries had a complete disregard for the welfare of the native people who used to populate both countries before the Europeans took them over – Brazil and the US have been capitalist countries since their discovery by the European powers of the time – both countries are supposed to be a market economy even though we can raise some red flags regarding the US economy today for example: federal government spending represents 11 percent of economic activity in Brazil, in the United States federal government spending represents 25 percent of economic activity in the US.

Another way to see it – in Brazil almost 90 percent of economic activity depends on the free market compared with 75 percent in the United States. If you adjust further and take in consideration state, and local government spending then government economic activity in both countries represents even a higher share of total economic activity in both countries.

Just to give an example of the economic power of state spending – a few years ago when I did research on the subject I found out that the State of New Jersey prison system budget to run that system for a period of one year it was larger than the combined budgets of all prison systems in Brazil for the entire country; including federal, state and local prisons and jails.

Basically, Brazil and South America can serve as a case study and an example to the world to see it about how shortsighted and naïve are the American ideals that the current US government want to spread around the world regarding capitalism and democracy.

If capitalism, and democracy was the magic combination that Americans think it is then South American countries would be 100 times in better shape than they are today.

If the world had any understanding of what has happened in South America in the last 20 years then the world would understand that the US is just spinning wheels in the Middle East with absolute no chance of getting the American expected outcome – if American influence and know how did not work well in South America on societies with a very similar European background as in the US – I am sure the American “illusions” are not going to work on the Middle East on societies that came from a complete different religious and cultural background.

But I am aware that most Americans don’t even know where South America is located on the map. That is how much they care about South America, and it is one of the major reasons why the US has been losing all its influence in South America and China has replaced the US as the new master in the entire area.

I became a major critic of the US government since George W. Bush became US president in November 2000 by illegitimate means, and George W. Bush has been a complete fraud ever since he became the illegitimate president of the United States in January of 2001.

American democracy it is very limited today, and has been corrupted completely by greed and by the money of the power brokers who would sell the soul of this country for an extra few US dollars.

In the other hand, we have real democracy in Brazil with 18 major political parties and every Brazilian citizen is required to vote by law on all Brazilian elections – a real democracy right?

No. In Brazil we have another type of problem related to a democratic system – we have too many people who don’t deserve the right to vote since they are ignorant, semi-literate, and many don’t have a minimum amount of common sense - and these people have the power to vote unqualified people to all levels of government from national to local elections.

The other drawback of democracy is that undesirables such as George W. Bush and Dick Cheney can manipulate the system and end up in power – as is the case in the US today.

But I still take democracy with all its shortcomings over the alternatives.

Brazil is an independent country, but Brazil needs the Chinese market to sell a massive amount of stuff to be able to earn its money and pay the bills.

In the other hand, the US government depends on the charity of the Chinese people to lend them money by the billions of dollars – in the near future the United States debt to China will reach the tune of $ 1 trillion dollars.

At least Brazil has the chance to find other markets to sell its stuff around the world to be able to keep paying their bills. But the United States it will not be able to find another lender of last resort, to lend it money for the US economy to stay afloat.

Where the US is going to find another country with such a deep pockets to finance the US appetite for easy cash?

If China say to the US enough is enough, and they decide that they are not going to continue sending cash by the boatload to the US to finance this American spending orgy.

Then what?

Is that what you call “freedom”?

SouthAmerica: During the 1970’s FDU had one of the best accounting programs in the US. There were more accountants who graduated from FDU with CPA’s certification than from any other school in the US during that decade. And the Association of MBA’s (AMBA) used to rank FDU’s accounting program among the top 5 in the country year after year.

Today FDU it is known for its Global education program, and also for its outstanding entrepreneurship program. FDU created a leading edge program on these fields that major American universities such as Harvard and many other universities were checking it out because of its innovative ways and programs for educating the new generation.

Since you brought that up I also went to Fordham University in the Bronx (New York City) and attended their Economics PhD program.

For any chance do you have any bad things to say about Fordham University as well?

Fordham University is a Jesuit university, in case you don’t know, and you might have something against the Catholic religion or something else.

the United States of America must mean you are not a citizen of

is that the Lunatic Fringe Islamic World sent over some idiots that

Too many dumb people in Brazil, they shouldn't have the vote? An elitist. It is your attitude of class warfare and aristocratic sensibility that put that pig Chavez in power. Isn't it about time the South American elites opened the coutries up to the poorer classes and brought a true middle class in being? Or are you prepared to have another Chavez take over Brazil?
