The dead zone

For fear of sounding like a newbie, I post here to ask for some views on the dead zone.

After taking a trading hiatus for the last few years, I am not in tune with the ebb and flow of the markets.

Anyway: these days, what hours (eastern standard) do you find to be the dead zone, when trades become low probability ?

The first few hours are active, the middle of the day can be less active and then the last few hours are active again. That has to do with general levels of price movement. It's the same pattern as before your hiatus.
