Did anyone catch the 10 minute trailer tonight on Fox before American Idol? I think this is the first time ever that a film has bought a ten minute spot on primetime TV to air a trailer. That must have cost a fortune.


I have to admit, the special effects look pretty kick ass.

some were good..but i thought it looked fake in the beginning when the guy almost fell in the BIG CRACK
 
Its a FOX movie.... so I'm thinking they got a discount on ad time...;-)

Plus, as much as I like Fox they advertise more than anyone else on Fox.... I've seen more promos for the local morning news than the actual morning news itself....

Good point. Still, it has never been done before to my knowledge. Kudo's to the PR people over there.
