Army Unit to Deploy in October for Domestic Operations

Beginning in October, the Army plans to station an active unit inside the United States for the first time to serve as an on-call federal response in times of emergency. The 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team has spent thirty-five of the last sixty months in Iraq, but now the unit is training for domestic operations. The unit will soon be under the day-to-day control of US Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command. The Army Times reports this new mission marks the first time an active unit has been given a dedicated assignment to Northern Command. The paper says the Army unit may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control. The soldiers are learning to use so-called nonlethal weapons designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals and crowds.

What most people don't understand is how the RAND Corporation has been gearing scientific research towards social control.
So called non-lethal weapons like Tazers, pepper-filled paintball bullets etc. It has all a nice ring to it.

Try to stage a 1960s style civic movement protest... you guys will be crushed like small cockroaches fleeing all over the place.


Your voting power and democratic process - ridding it from the corruption of the elitist priesthood who get their research from AEI,
the American Enterprise Institute ... If you guys don't do something to strengthen democracy in the US, you are all in deep shit.

Anyone trying to heckle at the GOP got carried away and the self-censorship of the convention chanting "USA! USA! USA!".
It is truly surreal to watch for someone who also know how the nationalsocialists in Germany organized themselves.
Frankly the nationalism and symbolism of the US today is very troubling for anyone watching from the outside.
 
Well, as I sit here looking at oil down nearly 5 quid, and the Dow Futures down 210, I must confess - I didn't anticipate how sharp this correction would be.

I see few tools left in central banks' arsenals, I am looking at a European and Asian meltdown that may overshadow our own here in the U.S., and I see cascading psychological destruction of consumer confidence, which inevitably leads to even those who have decent jobs and savings HOARDING THEIR CASH AND ELIMINATING ALMOST ALL DISCRETIONARY SPENDING -

- and this is the type of extraordinary reaction that stops money from circulating, and actually does lead to depressions.

Be afraid. The bottom could be no where near in terms of time or proportion.
