Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that actress Anne Hathaway has been cast in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film,“The Dark Knight Rises.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hathaway will portray the female lead, Catwoman (Selina Kyle.) “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story,” said Nolan.

Additionally, actor Tom Hardy, who joined the ensemble last fall, will play the character of Bane. Nolan said in a statement that he is “excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”

“The Dark Knight Rises” is the third installation in Christopher Nolan’s Batman films. It is set for release on July 20, 2012.

I'm not a Batman fan; but Anne Hathaway sure is easy on the eyes.

I dont know what to make of her, sometimes she looks sooo hot, a perfect 10, and then sometimes when she is wearing something weird, or dressed differently, she just looks pretty plain, and even looks kind of weird sometimes.
