LOL. That pic would even be more funny if the goat was wearing a Giants cap while sitting in the audience at SF, followed by a video of it somehow throwing said hat on ground when the Cubs scored that winning run!:D I almost felt bad for the Giants fans...almost. Go Cubs!!!! :thumbsup:

I think the reason is that 100+ teams are so tired come October, that the pitchers are running on fumes. I think Joe Maddon learned from last season, and has rested his pitchers with the intent of having a more leisurely regular season, for the purpose of having them strong in the post season. That, and we have a starting rotation as good as any.

And that is why I think there is going to be a party in Chicago this year!

LA offers two intentional walks after tying up the game!?:wtf: It's like taking a big long on the EURUSD ahead of a potential U.S. Dec hike! I don't think Chapman stayed upset for long when pulled for the pinch after holding the game to a tie against bases loaded with no outs. Not very many pinch hitters have smacked GS's in playoff history.

Good game, though. Felt like the Cubs were thieves for the first several innings with their defense . They robbed the Dodgers of a lot of potential base hits:D. One hell of a defensive team...especially Baez. GO CUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
