Ryan is like the McCain of the House. Totally obsessed with sucking up to the media and hinting to them how vastly superior he is to these idiots. He glories in pushing deeply unpopular entitlement cuts to establish his financial conservative cred, secure in the knowledge that they will never be enacted. As it is, he helped sink Romney's presidential campaign when he did what was to then thought impossible: he made Joe Biden appear to be a thoughtful leader.
