Points to be noted for analyzing Back Test
Back test not inculded the advantage of gap up or gap down openings.
We considered 170 pips as loss but in normal we have risk of around 80 to 100 pips. Additional loss is included to overcome the loss when we buy back hedging option.if we buy back , otherwise zero
We are not able to calculate the advantage of intraday swing movements.THESE INCREASE REWARDS
Real traders will know cost of execution blunders . slippage , illiquidity , mistakes , emotions and psychology etc etc etc

Drawdown/profit ratio maybe useful but drawdown alone does not say much.
If increase risk/position sizes then it also amplifies drawdown and profit together.
If increase ammount of capital and keep same risk then both drop.
If i understand it right then: 10% drawdown 30% profit = 50% drawdown 150% profit, under higher risk.
Do some platforms also reduce profits by gap up/down openings while strategy testing or it custom idea?
It may be useful for backtesting to get nicer results but under live trading how would the gaps be filtered out, to have more similarity under live trading to to backtesting?
Would it more likely couse good or harm on live trading if under backtest the gaps were filtered?

I am a trader, not a teacher. That's why you have in less than 1 month twice the amount of posting from what I have in three years and a half.
And if I was a teacher I would require that students should be able to read and write correct English. That's essential to understand what we would be speaking about. English is only the third language I speak but I try to speak and write it correctly. It is funny to see the errors people make although English is their native language.
