In 2013-2014 I was in Lagos, Nigeria as part of a team assisting Dr. Joe Nwiloh - Heart Center with indigent heart operations. The conditions there were worse than in a zoo. It didn't seem to have anything to do with skin color. This was an all volunteer group. Want to know how many African Americans volunteered or financially support this trip - ZERO. There is not an African American today that wants to go back to Africa.
