The Confederacy was Democrats.
its amazing to think that all these years later, the Democrats are upset that the Supreme Court determined that Democrats cannot discriminate based on race.
Democrats racism killed between 650,000 to a staggering 850,000 because they refused to get rid of slavery.
Ah yes, conservatives trying to have it both ways.
Democrats are woke liberals and racist conservatives at the same time. Do you see current Democrats carrying confederate flags? Or defending confederate statues and names?

The name & ideologies of the Democrats and Republicans flip-flopped from the catalyst of the Great Depression in America. It was a very slow change that completed southern Democrats officially became Republicans and northern Republicans officially became Democrats.
Simply, only a dumbass keeps viewing Democrats during slavery as the same Democrats after the Great Depression. The same is true for Republicans...they became Democrats after the Great Depression.
I took the below photo because he had strong admiration for the Republican Abraham Lincoln (1st Republican President) because...today...Abraham Lincoln would have been a Democrat in ideology. It's something that racists try very hard to hide by pretending Southern Republicans during slavery are the same Southern Republicans today...they are not.

Please keep in mind that many conservatives from Confederate states did not...still do not...believe in slavery, confederacy, KKK, segregation, and White Nationalism.
Today, the ancestors of those conservatives that helped Abraham Lincoln to end slavery are the same ones that helped Joe Biden to remove Trump from the oval office when he cater to those that still believe in the Confederacy that divides America today.
I grew up in a small town in Kentucky for awhile...the Confederacy no longer lives there in that small town because too many 101st military soldiers & veterans live there...defending America against any foreign & domestic threats.
