I like to have some kind of confirmation that we have bottomed out. What indicators should I be watching?

I already added on to my position around 980 of the S&P thinking we bottomed there. Now we're at 880. I hate to add on here and then go to 780. ;)

Seriously, what is the sign that we're looking for? There was a brief rally a couple days ago that suckered in a lot of longs.
