The Clintons have generated $3 billion

If there is truth and context in those claims, then I'm sure it will all get the proper sunlight it deserves when she becomes the Democratic nominee.

Can you explain to me why the Clinton Foundation should be considered a charity and not a PAC.

Can you name one example of charitable use of the Clinton Foundation's money besides re-distributing it to other politically connected foundations and individuals?

The Gates Foundation and other similar initiatives led by wealthy individuals can provide clear examples of their charity spending and it's direct impact across the world.

"The majority of the money — $2 billion — has gone to the Clinton Foundation, one of the world’s fastest-growing charities, which supports health, education and economic development initiatives around the globe."

I wonder how much the Republican candidates, combined, helped raise for charitable causes...

Foreskin, year after year republicans have been more charitable than democrats.

Secondly, the Clinton Foundation is not money that the Clintons donated. They are simply being charitable with other people's money.

Thirdly, the Clinton Foundation is more about politics than charity in the first place.

Charity watchdog: Clinton Foundation a ‘slush fund’

"The Clinton Foundation’s finances are so messy that the nation’s most influential charity watchdog put it on its “watch list” of problematic nonprofits last month.

The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.

The group spent the bulk of its windfall on administration, travel, and salaries and bonuses, with the fattest payouts going to family friends."

I can't comment knowledgeably about the Clinton Foundation. If there are meaningful and intentional improprieties, I have no doubt they will surface and will be given sufficient attention by the media if and when the time comes. In the meantime, we both know there are innumerable Clinton haters out there willing to say and do anything. So I will adopt a wait-and-see attitude. I won't defend any real wrongdoing. But I won't swallow the anti-Clinton conspiracists' wishful musings either, particularly those posted in rags posing as newspapers.

Keep in mind.... the articles I posted on this subject are from CNN, USA Today, NYT, and the Washington Post.

Are all of these right-wing Clinton hating rags suddenly?

This gets back to my question... Can you name one.... just one example of charitable use of the Clinton Foundation's money besides re-distributing it to other politically connected foundations and individuals?

Good point. But I can't comment on the context because I am not familiar with the content. I don't know. I don't pretend to know. I said as much. But I am not about to embark on an investigative reporting career. It will play out and the cards will fall where they may. If there is no meaningful, contextual wrongdoing, then I will continue to be supportive of Clinton for president, not that it would count for much, coming from a Canadian. And if there is indeed meaningful fire where there appears to be some smoke, then I will be disheartened and not supportive. That is the best you're going to get from me for now.

FF, try using the Sgt. Schultz accent next time," I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing..."
