I knew you would show up in support of the income tax. You have to show up and lie for the FED or make a tin foil comment any time someone makes a comment about the privately owned FED Reserve or the income tax.
You can no longer argue the FED does not make trillions of dollars at will because they just did it again without any authorization from Congress.

California Cafe Defies Shelter-in-Place Orders, Opens for Dine-In Service
A restaurant opened for dine-in service Friday in El Dorado County, California, despite Gov. Gavin Newsom’s shelter-in-place orders meant to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
“I will not survive another month. This place is my livelihood and it’s being taken away from me,” Café El Dorado owner Cherie Baldridge told the Mountain Democrat.
Two months behind in rent and facing insolvency, Baldridge and her two employees realized that opening up was their last resort.
“Take-out isn’t going to do it. My regular customers don’t like take-out. They like to sit down, relax and eat the food here. So that’s what I’m going to let them do,” she continued.
Friday, protests against the stay home orders took place in at least 11 cities, including Sacramento, San Francisco, and San Diego, according to AFP.
In Los Angeles, hundreds gathered outside the Los Angeles City Hall to demand Gov. Gavin Newsom reopen the state’s economy, Breitbart News reported.
One man addressed the crowd with a bullhorn and urged participants to look around at the turnout.
“This is America! Look at the turnout! Look at all this red, white, and blue. So many people just proud, proud — standing up for the First Amendment. Our forefathers wrote the First Amendment so that this exact thing would not happen,” he said as people cheered.
Friday, Café El Dorado customer Linda Forni, whose husband passed away in November, said it was good for her mental health to visit the diner that only seated about 25 at a time.
“A lot of regulars are older men who are retired and can’t or don’t cook at home and don’t go out anyway to socialize. They come here and go home mainly, and there is a low rate in the county, so I don’t have concerns here,” she explained.
Thursday, Baldridge got an email from the El Dorado County Environmental Management Department asking her not to allow sit-down service despite reports that the county’s coronavirus cases were on the decline.
However, the café owner refused to comply.
“I have to eat. I have to pay my bills. They’re my rights. This is my business and I have the rights to keep it open,” Baldridge stated.
Friday, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) said it did not plan on forcing businesses to close or penalize them for not following the order.
“We will continue to educate them to make smart and responsible decisions for our community. Our goal is to not have to enforce the stay-at-home order through citations,” the EDSO concluded.

Kudos to the Sheriff.
But, I wonder if she will be able to stay open. I a sure a percentage of her customers will still observe social distancing for their own health.

You might think that all of this would be a bonanza for take out restaurants and I am sure it is for some but it does not look that way to me.
I see that a lot of food trucks did well for a bit and some are holding on but I see some closing down too. A lot of the take out places are dependent on people being in town shopping, college students still in town, people on the job making a quick pit stop to pick up 2-3 tacos and go back to the job, etc. All of that is gone now. It takes business to create other business, duh. And of course lots of people are broke now too and don't have money to dine in or out at a restaurant when things do open up again.
Nice little diner that gal has there. The cops come by to deliver some shut down notice to her, you know they be having some of those biscuits and gravy before they leave. This is just the law of nature.

If these companies like YUM etc were smart, they'd dump all their prime commercial frontage in all their best cities, rent space in strategic industrial parks, and just operate kitchens preparing their menu items for delivery. No way the square footage with the associated overhead including taxes, labor, and utilities can justify 30% capacity. F it... shut em down and open up kitchens with delivery drivers.
I'll tell ya what... state, county, and local taxes... to the moon Alice. We are gonna see huge cuts in everything from cops to teachers. You mark my word.
Half of those shuttered businesses in your town aren't going to reopen. May is the death blow for many if they remain closed.
A manageable health problem was turned into an epic act of economic self-destruction that will have consequences for decades. I have never in my life seen such a gigantic unforced error.
Oh indeed, I made that point at length the other day. I said- for example- that I can drive around town and see the signs in stores that have now switched from saying "Closed due to Covid" over to saying "Available Space" or "For Rent" and you peer in the window and the entire store has been vacated. They are not coming back.
Those are just the most visible examples. But people don't see the longer term decisions that are being made in May too. Such as the farmer who is not going to plant crops because he doesnt have the money and because demand is down and predicted to be down for months together. You cant make that decision in July. Same with west coast fishermen. They dont want to even bother to head out with their fleet because restaurants are end consumers of their catch. And it is seasonal with when the fish are there. If you lose those months, you have lost the year. Ditto for ranchers. They are on year long cycles where if you dont go with the cycle you can't make it up. Some of these governors have an urban view of the world. Like you are just deciding about whether to open a restaurant, schools, or a barber shop and if you open them up in july well you have pissed them off a little but they can get going then. No. That's like telling a retail store owner that if you dont open in December Christmas season, not to worry, you will be able to open in January. Ahhh no. And a lot of construction work in the northern states does not happen in the wintertime for good reasons. If you miss the summer work season you miss the year.
A lot of marginal and not-so-marginal colleges are going down permanently too. They are dependent on people doing long range planning also. But right now you have thousands of students fighting with colleges to get refunds because their spring semester shut down early but they didnt get credits or graduation for the semester. Yet you want them to sign up for the fall too. No.
And then you read a dozen articles that say that Chinese is using all of this as a competitive advantage to finally pull ahead of the U.S. globally for real. Man, what a mess. They are talking about being closed until a vaccine comes along. No siree.

Bless your heart, you've never caught on to the Fed just being an independent part* of the overall Treasury operation so of course any profits realized by the Fed, and they often have big profits, flow immediately and directly back to the U.S. Treasury's balance sheet.

Democrat governors will keep their states shutdown till June 30, 2020 probably, maybe, even longer. A lot of small businesses will go bankrupt and their employees becoming permanently, unemployed. US voters should remember this when they vote on November 3, 2020. Democrats only good at collecting their salaries and perks, conducting wasteful bogus investigations and shutting down their states to destroy the US economy. Anything they think can damage President Donald Trump, they will do.
