I had an overnight es order at 1301, 3 contracts short, that made me a little money today.

I then counter traded a little against the down trend for a nice profit.

Much better than yesterday which was not a good day for me.

August has been a hard month for me, hopefully rest of the month will be better.

FRIDAY!!! 8/16 1:25 pm Dow+10

Rennick anxiously waits as Mrs. Rennick dutifully throws a spit shine on the mighty "Chrystal Ball" so that the Amazing One can clearly see what is being shown. Rennick snaps his fingers to signal that cleaning time is over. The still very hot Mrs. Rennick rushes back to the kitchen. Rennick gazes into the "Ball" and will now speak:
"The mysterious Orb remains neutral and is calling for continued FLAT Market action this afternoon, with the Averages finishing little changed. Beware of some late session chop as this options ex. Friday draws to a close."

With a sigh of relief that the trading week is over for him, the Amazing One will shut off his computer. A tall cold one awaits him in the Winnebego.

Rennick out:cool:

As I gaze into the cristal ball :) the amazing Volente sees a S&P range of 1290 to 1300 for Friday. Get out now before the sell off starts.

Hey...just curious as to why u anticipate some selling next week. ? I scaled into some DJX puts on the strength. I'm seeing a very low ST VIX and some expiration"maneuverings",existing geopolitical risks/surprises,etc...this fall(A historically bad time for the equity mkt.)

If y'all make it over to the Middletown Tavern by 5:00, I'm buying. The early crowd here is big-time redneck, then it goes downhill later on when the trailerpark crowd rolls in.
