A winded Rennick grabs the mic from one angry woman and will finally speak
"sorry guys, but that round thing on the table just showed me a WEAK afternoon session. Matter of fact it's already shot down 30 points(now it's -24 Dow) since Rick James started playing"

A relieved Rennick will now retreat to his trading room to see if he hit the sell order on his overnite puts.

End of day review:

The" Mighty Chrystal Ball" called for Weak Market action for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
To make a short story even shorter, Both of the "Balls" calls were realized @ the 1:45 pm low of the day with the Dow -33, and completely reversing early gains. This decent down trend was enough for the sell order for my overnite put position to be filled, and I was through for the day. The averages then drifted back to near unchanged and below Update levels. So to summarize, the WEAK call was good for a base hit, and thats about it. Hey that rhymes. Til next time

I knew I was going to get you Bill, but I didn't expect it so soon! :)

You see, yesterday you said the morning session ends at noon. I said OK, but if so, we have to end it there EVERY FREAKING DAY!
If not, then yesterday's morning call was wrong and it was flat and not weak.

But let's see today's MORNING call, as it was weak. The market started with a weak RALLY and from minus a few points the Dow went up 40 points topping at +34 and later at 11:30 at +30. That is not weak in my book. A weak rally, but not going down.

At noon the Dow was at +20 so if you shorted at the open (-6 or so), you were still at a loss, so the morning call SUCKED. Remember, the morning call ENDS at noon, no funky accounting needed! :)

Let's see the afternoon call. It was actually good for real subscribers, because they got it IN TIME (and I suppose here that they got out after the 30+ drop). Unfortunatelly, you post it 40-50 mins later and by that time the Dow already dropped, from where if someone shorted they got a loss by day's end, because the Dow rallied back from 2:15 (-40). Closed at -5...

If you look at the chart the Dow only dropped 5-10 points between 1 pm and 4 pm, and that is flat in my book.

So although one could have made money by shorting immediatelly after 1 pm, your post was too late and both the early morning session and the afternoon session ended with a loss...

Again, just keeping you honest and as an advice: instead of the funny commentary with the signal, why don't you just post the signal as soon as you get it, and add the funny comments later???
 
Rennick, in his end of day summary stated for everyone here that would never know, that the morning call was WEAK and that it was finally realized at the 1:45 low. In other words he has pointing to the fact that the Morning call was wrong. Anybody following todays action knew the morning was strong, and yes it ends at 12. I'm sure that's the reason Rennick said "finally realized" at 1:45.

As far as Rennick taking too long to post the call, I for one look more forward to the color commentary than for the freebie your laying to pounce on. Another point, how in the world is he supposed to know exactly when, and how far a move will go. Today's weak call could have produced a larger sell off.

Anyone who went short this morning was elated when the Market sold off sharply and hit it's low at 1:45. They should give a darn whether it was morning or afternoon, as long as the trade was making money.

Your call today in which you showed elation that your overnight position was likely to pay off because the "Chrystal Ball" had just issued a weak signal was to say the least memorable. The wife and I laughed for a good 5 minutes as it brought back some memories.The sharp selloff which quickly ensued after the real "Balls" weak call at the 1:05 pm update was most impressive,and speaks for itself

today was awesome after i finally hit my sell order. my only regret was that i went ahead and traded twice. i ended up closing out the trade at the close, that was my bad though.
 
Boys 'n Girls,

Save the personal attacks for Chit Chat, or another website. This time I edited out the attacks, next time the entire post disappears. Surely we're big enough people that we can stand (dare I say encourage) a little doubting, a little questioning, a little examination. If not, please keep the negative personal comments to yourself. Myself, I wouldn't pay five bucks for the trade service inside that crystal ball.

I would happily pay $1 million dollars for the ability to assemble words together like those above in offhand, extemperaneous fashion that Rennick so easily does without a second thought. I'd pay that for his wordsmithing gift without hesitation... too bad a literary transplant isn't possible :>)

The genius in these posts is the wordsmithing... those vivid, visual stories are a priceless gift. Trust me on that one!

Bit, you missed the point... the brilliance of this thread is Rennick's gift with words. That is 100% what I meant to say, so that we're totally clear.

Let everyone argue about what the market did at what time on a clock versus the prediction. Who really cares about that stuff? I'm hoping Rennick never loses desire to set the stage of his peerings into the mighty ball. In my opinion, he can talk about a coin toss with equal aplomb... and I'll still be here for it!
 
no i didn't miss the point, that's what u wrote and it is pure hypocrisy since u are a vendor with no verifiable record to speak of.

Bit, let me rephrase what I said to say what I mean:

Regardless of what Rennick writes about, I appreciate his manner of writing far more than topic content. I read some posts in this very thread tonight which were critical enough to the point that a moderator had to edit & warn people about the venom with which they wrote.

My point is this: to hell with what time on the clock certain predictions come to pass / don't come to pass. Let's not abuse Rennick in any written = verbal manner for what he conveys. Capiche`?

Let's never run the risk of having him say, "Oh what's the use. I'm done with this stuff. They can live without my posts from here"

I'd rather be reading these chronicles for years to come. If anyone has a problem with the subject matter TO THE POINT WITH WHICH THEY VERBALLY CASTIGATE in this thread, I personally think they miss the point about what is brilliant in here.

The topic is irrelevant to me and I presume many others. The delivery in which Rennick outlays the info is why we're here.

Am I perfectly clear about my stance & meaning this time around?
