Quote from MrCharts:
The painting has several features that will catch the eye.
What feature do you find yourself looking at mostly?
Why do you keep looking at the same feature most of the time?
Did it ever occur to you that the reason you are looking at what you look at mostly is because it is made to appeal to you on purpose?
Can you think what the artist was thinking about when he painted the picture?
Are you even looking at the right picture?
Even though this thread has move to other pictures â I will allow a view into how I think (perceive)
My âviewâ of the two pictures
One is older, one newer
One shows the beauty (inner and outer) of a simple woman, the other a voluptuous woman
One has brunet hair, the other blond
One is slightly faded, the other in hues
In both pictures the women have dainty fingers
In one picture all the features seem dainty, the other exaggerated
What was the artists thinking, I truly donât knowâ¦, but in one I feel the artist was at peace doing what he loved, in the other in other â he was probably thinking how appealing his image be and how it would appeal to... the herd
What I âseeâ
The Mona Lisa, painted in the 16th century by Leonardo da Vinci â Value = Priceless
A replica of the Mona Lisa â Value = Worthless
As a trader - my only goal is to make money
As a trader â one of these perspective serves me well, the other is totally useless â and may vary well cost me money
Took me 5 nanoseconds to go from my âviewâ, to what I âseeâ.... and about two minutes to write these words
"Doesnât matter what you think â only how"â¦. My colleagueâs words are well worth repeating again....
Food for Thought
