The case against college.

Quote from KINGOFSHORTS:

What is interesting is a lot of Jobs that did not require college, now require one.

Soon even a Janitorial job will require a 4 year degree.

The Fed isn't the only institution that can cause inflation.

:(

Top colleges get credit they may not deserve.

They get young, energetic, hungry kids with, say, a median SAT score of 760. Those kids are going to be successful even if they don't go to a top school.

The "raw materials" have already ensured success.

Plus, I have an MBA from a top 20 school. I use almost nothing of what they taught in my current work.

760 median SAT ensured of success? I now have serious doubts about your "MBA from a top school"

Master's in Basic Alchemy? Anyway, Wal-Mart cashiers generally do not need MBAs from any school...

Hamburger University is no joke. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburger_University
I bet a McDegree from Hamburger University is worth many times more than Lethn's community college certificate of games design. :)

Liz went through the McD training while working to earn spending money for college. She feels it was really helpful as a foundation in doing administration.

I'm sure it wasn't me the colleges were approving as much as the ticket that went with the full scholarship and support funds.

I feel really supported by ET; even my typos are considered spelling errors.

Quote from Index Maximus:

You forgot number six :

6. Move in to my girlfriend's modest house and pretend to trade while she continues to earn a living from productive work.
Very Interesting comment.
Where I am working now as a "temp" (they call it "Agile employee") almost 70% of the workforce is FEMALE.
Wonder why.
Over 40 and male in the USA ?
Welcome ...you are the new "niggah" !
I'm really interested in that new show coming up..."Men of a Certain Age".
That's a "tell".

Quote from nutmeg:

It's not like you can just apply to Hambuger University. One has to complete quite a few corporate trainings (which earn college credits) in addition to being an on the job manager for quite a few years. It would seem after the commitment one would logically end up owning a store. Don't quote me but I am quite sure that MCD has created more millionaires than any other co.
You should see how carefully Chick Fil-A vets its franchisees. It's almost like electing the Pope.

How does she feel about having to support you and let you live in her house?
So you created a brand new alias just to follow one poster (jack) in every thread? Wow, you're a real winner :( :( :( A college time-management course might help you out :p

Yeah... you trade like Mr. Magoo drives :p

One of my strips allows me to trade as if driving a car (driving a car is a strip I have too).

You have a rich imagination. Perhaps you meant when you auditioned to be the Hamburglar
