i am sure the fall out for the actual people who entered the capitol will make sure this does not happen again. the number of arrests and firings for people caught in the chambers was splashed all over. As usual the foot soldiers get killed while the bosses laugh about it in their mansions. Nothing is happening to trump but the arrests will ensure it does not happen again as hte sheeple now know better.

Trump has been getting away with bad judgment and form for decades. However, this hearing goes beyond the political realm and decency, and into criminal territory. I think Garland's credibility would be questioned if he were to ignore the finding from these hearings, along with whatever investigations his department may be running.

I believe 100% it will go nowhere because it is still a political event and when a scandal occurs a figurehead is disgraced. In this case trump was not disgraced before his idol worshippers so that tells a lot. When the hearing is done, it will simply convince those who already dislike him but do nothing for those who still get the kneepads out for him. Garland will do ZILCH.

If Garland doesn't act on actionable evidence to pursue indictments against Trump and his henchmen, then I foresee the US system of government going to hell in a handbasket beyond where Trump has already taken it. This shit absolutely needs to go before a judge and jury in a court of law if the US is to escape banana republic status.
