The 'Cap And Tax' Dead End (Palin WaPo Op-Ed)

Quote from ByLoSellHi:

Palin is irrelevant now, except for the part of the GOP base that will always be marginal in national elections, and her resigning as governor has only made her more marginal in any national election.

Only an idiot would keep supporting Palin if he/she understands politics and wants to increase the odds of GOP success going forward, and the GOP hard core base seems to be stocked jam full of idiots.

It's an interesting dilemma. On the one hand, you have a point. You really would like for your candidate to be able to handle a question from an airhead reporter about what they read.

On the other hand, I remember people, mainly in the media, saying the exact same thing about Ronald Reagan, and he worked out pretty well. She has two things none of the other republican candidates possess: charisma and ordinary voters adore her. She may not be a Rhodes scholar, but she has bigger balls than all the other republicans put together.

.......but she has bigger balls than all the other republicans put together.

Could it be one of the reasons they are afraid of her so much?? I guess so.
