The ship was in international waters.

The agreement doesn't extend past Israel's territorial waters.

Israel had no jurisdiction and the ship had a right to attack the soldiers. Who could of well been Pirates, Mercs or whatever. Who knows.

After hearing the things I heard and seeing the things I saw in Muslim countries (particularly how brutally they treat women), if I were Jewish I would be paranoid, too.
