Has nothing to do with the UK economy. This is about the destabilisation of the EU, the fear is that other countries will follow UK out of the EU now that there is a precedent. I'm not 100% convinced that this will happen, most EU countries are stuck because they are also in the eurozone, its easy to abandon the EU if you are not in the eurozone, otherwise its a lot tougher.
But ultimately it could still happen, the probability of it happening has gone up a fair bit since Brexit, markets need to take this risk into account.

it just may be that bank crisis is on the way and brexit was catalyst/excuse for large down gaps, trapping masses that enjoyed dividend flows.
In people heads enough rosyness that still think it will go away just like any other crisis in last 2 decades and alarms do not go off yet.

It probably will go away, recover, and everyone will eventually forget this ever happened.
However, that's not happening tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how far low and how far long this takes.
