I have a feeling most online brokers will be going haywire tomorrow... Last time that happened on August 24th I couldn't trade for the first 30 mins...I complained and got about 25 free trades.....thinking the same tomorrow....trade imbalances everywhere....

Might get a 1000 point opening drop.....trade wisely....I would NOT go short at the open....stay put if anything..... The opportunity to short was the last 4 prior days....

Careful. While I think this could have legs a few days, initiating a short position with the S&P down 100 points is quite risky. The time to short with confidence has passed. You sold your long position, and you won. Best to not be greedy...

So my other option is to go long on other individual equities knowing that they might be at a "discount" tomorrow...

If your broker couldn't handle that day, it will happen again one day. You missed a lot of incredible opportunities that morning. Find a quality broker.

That morning I sold off SDS and DXD that I had been holding quite sometime.... I made good profits on those but that prior week before I had sold a few other shorts missing completely out on the drop that came Monday morning...long story short I missed out on a few thousand dollars worth of gains that week. Waiting for a day like that again...
