That's interesting that you associate the red pill with leftists. When I used to read the manosphere blogs back like 10 years ago, the Red Pill movement was mostly a nod to the Alt-Right. They used to refer to mainstream press as The Cathedral. They had a language of their own.
In reality the Red Pill movement was just the PUA (Pick-Up Arist) community in disguise. The manosphere itself was mainly made up of PUA blogs & Christian Red Pill blogs.
