Also medical professionals said you need both doses for full efficacy so you cannot even read medical facts without changing them. Cases are not rising in the vaxxed people are they equally as in the non vaxxed?
Yeah, we need both doses. Then it will be three, and four, five, six...it'll never end, we know that not because of what we're dealing with, but who we're dealing with. Fact is people who have been vaccinated are getting Covid. Now we do know that the number of hospitalized are far, far greater for the unvaxxed. Damn near 100% greater. So we can conclude the vaccine will tremendously reduce the risk of hospitalizations. I have and continue to suggest those in the higher risk categories get vaccinated. They are the ones being hospitalized. However, it's obvious that the vaccine isn't an immunity card, just a it won't be so bad card.
Back to the debate of who is driving the spike. If the vaxxed can get Covid then they are contributing. How much? We can only speculate. We know that the unvaxxed with Covid will spread the virus. How much contribution from them? We can only speculate. We know that thousands upon thousands of Covid positive illegals are entering the country. How much are they contributing? We can only speculate.
Your argument seems to be, and certainly the position the left takes, is because we can only speculate about their contribution it's really not worth looking at. It's perfectly fine to speculate about the unvaxxed citizen spreading the virus, which the administration and their media mouthpieces do 24/7, but hands off the illegals and their contribution to the spike. It more leftist bullshit, and I'll keep pointing it out.
There is also the practical reality that the U.S. needs immigrants. There is no way we can support expanding our economy and supporting social security programs without them. This will actually require a large number of immigrants between now and 2050 — it is time we got onboard with supporting large scale legal immigration - otherwise other countries including Canada are going to beat us out on the skills and productivity front.
We need immigrants of all skills — both blue collar and white collar. We need houses built, software written and many other jobs done — that will not be met by the size of our current domestic labor force.
Immigrants from Mexico and Central America will be fine additions to our country. Despite the language difference they assimilate well into American society with many success stories including the second generation graduating universities and becoming leaders in their fields. The other reality is that a huge majority of immigrants from south of the border are hard-working people who contribute to our society.
The constant harangue from particular politicians who try to demonize these immigrants — claiming they are all criminals and gang members is unfortunate. Trying to blame Covid spread in the U.S. on these immigrants shows a new height of hypocrisy by these pundits.
Certainly I want immigrants to come to the U.S. legally — we need comprehensive immigration reform to do this. Furthermore we need to stop demonizing immigrants who speak a different language or have a different color skin just so abrasive politicians can score points with their misguided base. We should be taking steps in the U.S. to attract the best immigrants to our country — their skills both blue collar and white collar will benefit our economy and drive our future.
